You are required to design footwear based on the theme “whimsical journey” and the footwear is to be made of paper. In your research, you should:
- Make 5 visual interpretations of “whimsical journey”.
- Make 5 first hand observational studies of things are connected together (joints/ connections).
- Collect 5 images of paper sculpture or paper structure, make a PowerPoint slideshow and reflect on how Art elements and principles are utilised in these works.
- Make 5 Investigations (Ideas) of “whimsical journey” footwear.
- Make finalised design drawing.
- Make 3 mini samples to demonstrate of how “intended’ paper joints.
- Develop your drawings and samples into final paper sculptural.
